About VIIT Pune

Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Pune was established in the year 2002 by Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust (BRACT). VIIT Pune is a self-financed autonomous institute affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University. The institute is approved by AICTE. With a CGPA of 3.14, VIIT Pune has been accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. A total of 17 courses are offered by the institute and admission to these courses is done on the basis of different national level examinations. The institute also has provision for scholarships and provides a long list of facilities to its students as well.

VIIT Pune Courses

VIIT Pune offers 8 undergraduate, 5 postgraduate and 4 doctoral courses. The VIIT Pune course list includes B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D courses in multiple specialisations. The duration of VIIT Pune B.Tech course is 4 years, M.Tech course is 2 years and Ph.D course is 6 years. All these courses are offered in full-time mode only. VIIT Pune Admissions

Candidates seeking admission in any of the courses offered by VIIT Pune must apply by filling the online application form from the official website of the institute. For VIIT Pune admission to undergraduate courses, candidates need to appear for MHT CET or JEE Main. A candidate must have a valid score in the GATE to take admission in the M.Tech programme. VIIT Pune admission to PhD courses is offered on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in PET and candidates' performance in the personal interview.

VIIT Pune Scholarships

The institute offers only a single scholarship to its students. The only scholarship offered by VIIT Pune is the Keep Moving Scholarship. In order to avail VIIT Pune scholarship students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology scholarship policy is governed by the alumni association. Furthermore, tuition fee waiver is provided to students based on financial need and also to the childrens of the college employees. GATE qualified students are also entitled to stipend offered by the college.

Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology Cut off

VIIT Pune cut off is the closing ranks of entrance exams undertaken by candidates. To take admission in the desired course candidates need to meet the Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology cutoff. JEE Main/MHA CET cut-off is released for B.Tech admission and GATE cut-off is released for M,Tech admissions, The institute cutoff is released by the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra. VIIT Pune cutoff is released in multiple rounds in online mode.

VIIT Pune Placements

The college has a dedicated placement department for conducting placements. The VIIT Pune placement department is called the training and placement (T&P) cell. Training and placement cell manages contact with the corporates and every year sends invitations to them for the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology placements. The placement department also supports students by conducting placement related workshops and seminars. VIIT Pune placement department also remains in touch with the alumni as they also help in finding the best jobs for the students.

VIIT Pune Facilities

Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology facilities offer a comfortable environment to the students. The college has a well-stocked central library, canteen which offers hygienic food at reasonable prices, wifi and auditorium where numerous academic and cultural events are held. VIIT Pune also has provision for the accommodation of outstation boys and girls students. Each department of the college has a lab. The institute has a bank and ATM inside the campus only. VIIT Pune Scholarship

The institute offers scholarships to meritorious students and students who belong to financially weaker sections of the society. As per Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology scholarship policy, eligible students are offered fee waiver and cash rewards for their excellent academic record. The institute provides a 50% tuition fee waiver to wards of the employees and to students who need financial assistance. The alumni association of the college also provides a scholarship - Keep Moving Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to students belonging to financially weaker sections of society. College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of this college is so beautiful.Condition and maintenance of classrooms,labs , libraries and sports ground is on time.This college has an adequacy of space for various activities like sports,Cultural Function.Wi fi facility is available on college campus.The living space are clean and the food hygienic.

I can say it is excellent opportunitiey to start career here

Campus is good & Healthy for learning. Classrooms are clean. There are separate departmental buildings for each curriculum course. Wifi, sports ground( open), laboratories are there within the campus. Food is healthy.

Hello,

As students are not allowed to enter into the examination hall without an admit card(hall ticket), it is better to have it with yourself as soon as the management releases them to avoid last minute hurdles. It seems that you are doing this in a proper way.

Steps to download admit card for VITEEE 2022:

Go to their official website: vit.ac.in (https://vit.ac.in/) (copy and paste this link in your browser's searchbar if a new tab is not being opened upon touch).
Enter into their Online Test Booking portal.
Enter the registration number and the appropriate password provided to you.
Once entered, you could see a statement, VITEEE ADMIT CARD DOWNLOAD.
Click on that, check for any errors and download the hall ticket.

There is a facility to reset your password within the web page, incase if you have forgotten the one that was provided to you earlier.

Hello,

The dates for the slot booking are not yet announced by the officials. The Vellore Institute of Technology has revised the VITEEE 2022 exam date at viteee.vit.ac.in. VITEEE 2022 is now scheduled to be conducted from June 30 to July 6, 2022 in online mode. The VITEEE application form 2022 is available at the official website- viteee.vit.ac.in. The last date to fill is 15th June. It is expected that the officials will release the dates for the slot booking after the last date.
