The college has recently started developing their infrastructure into a more modern look. It provides the students with good hangout spots after classes in the library, amphitheater etc. These spots are just some of the most relaxing places to be in during the evenings with good company.
The faculty is good but not the best. Meeting them outside of classes is more informative as they help and talk to us in a friendly manner and help us in our future endeavors. The academics part as per the curriculum is good.
Placements are good but it all depends on how big of a package you want and how much of an effort you're ready to put for the placement. The college promises 100% placements but it also depends on what kind of placement the student wants or dreams of
I'd say it's got good value for money if you are ready to use the resources and be smart about how you use them to your own good. Good surroundings, good people and just overall a good vibe to it.
Amazing campus life with good environment all around.
The college offers a range of infrastructure and facilities that cater to all of the student needs. Classrooms are provided with good WiFi networks. The new library is great, having an extensive collection that supports diverse academic pursuits.
Teaching Quality is one of the best features of my college, I've been taught by some exceptional professors. However, as part of the VTU batch, the curriculum feels outdated, but with the college being autonomous, the curriculum will definitely improve.
The placements on campus is really great, in spite of the current recession, most of the students have bagged multiple offers from very good organizations. The connections of the placement cell of college is impressive.
The college offers good value for money and allows joining through KCET and COMEDK. Apart from the regular fees, not too much of additional expenses have to be incurred. The knowledge that is imparted can justify the cost.
The Campus is Great and Spacious, it offers a lot of Amenities. However there is room for improvement in event planning.
"The infrastructure at RNSIT is impressive. There's a football ground, a cricket ground, and a large park for relaxation. The classrooms are spacious, and there are two canteens that offer a variety of food options. Every department has its own building, and the labs are well-maintained with up-to-date equipment. It's a great environment for both learning and extracurricular activities.
The teachers are fantastic, highly experienced, with in-depth knowledge of their subjects. Many of them have completed their doctorates. If you're passionate about learning, it's easy to gain a wealth of knowledge from these teachers.
In the third year, we receive comprehensive training to prepare for them. This training includes practice interviews, aptitude tests, quantitative skills, coding sessions, and interpersonal development. All of this helps ensure that we're well-prepared for placements and gives us a great shot at landing jobs.
Since I joined through KCET, and my fees were about 90,000 rupees per year, quite affordable for a college like RNSIT I had a great experience here, and for the value of money, I definitely got more than what I paid for.
The campus life was vibrant, with plenty of opportunities to meet people from different departments. I made friends not just in my Electrical and Electronics engineering department, but across the entire campus. The teachers from other departments were also sweet and friendly; we often met at intercultural fests, where everyone got together to celebrate. Joining in these events helped me build connections and expand my circle of friends. It was a fantastic part of my college experience.

Teaching quality varies, but I've encountered some exceptional professors supporting my engineering journey. However, as part of the VTU batch, the curriculum can feel outdated. With the college now autonomous, there's hope for improvement. The college organizes seminars and project open houses, offering upskilling opportunities. Yet, it's mostly up to individual students to drive their learning. Overall, while enriching, there's room for better alignment with industry demands.
Placements on campus are quite promising, with the average package ranging from 4 to 5 lakh per annum. The highest package reaches an impressive 26.65 lakh per annum mark. Though placements are comparatively less this year compared to previous years, the placement department is putting in significant effort to attract companies. The college consistently facilitates strong placement opportunities, reflecting positively on its reputation.
Considering the modest course fees and the opportunities provided to KCET entrants, the college offers value for money. Facilities, resources, and the education received justifies the investment.
Due to COVID, my initial semesters lacked campus life. Some early events felt forced. However, as restrictions eased, the college organized more natural and enjoyable events. Despite challenges, these events provided networking opportunities. Overall, while engaging, there's room for improvement in event planning.
