Yes the college has a decent infrastructure and has a lush green campus. Campus is definately wifi enabled with routers placed inside the departments and library. The campus is always filled with students and faculties. The classrooms ( atleast in CSE dept.) are really well lit with each one of them having smartboards in them. Hostels are also not bad as they have 4 hostels for 4 different years in the college. The hostel food is not very bad, but some meals of the week are really not eatable.
The academics is average. Some faculties only know what is there in the pdf they have been using for teaching. No intrest in the subject. Some faculties don't even know the subjects they are teaching. But Most of the faaculties are really knowledgeable about their subjects and have a very keen intrest in research and projects.
I cannot blame the college for the current situation of placements as there is recession going on. But still the college tries everything to bring good companies to the college. The placements in the past have been fabulous. This college has been renouned for its placements in the town. On an average when compared to tire 1 and 2 colleges, the placements are good.
It totally depends on the mode of admission for the student. If he or she has entered the college through KCET he has the best value for money. But for the people from other states who come through COMEDK, for them it might be a little expensive when taken into consideration tution fees and accomidation (hostel) in the college. Also there are a lot of PG's really close to the campus. Students can definately consider them too for staying there.
The college conducts fests and is really filled with events. This time is the most stress free for the students. Also one aditional fact : The administration (few of them) have a lot of ego in them (as if they are ias or govt officers) . Be aware of these people before hand. They will make you run around the college for even the smallest task. They don't have mercy.
Not bad but if you are really intrested in CSE ISE, this college is really good.
The college have all the necessary infrastructure facility and equipment required for the students. The classrooms are well equipped. Laboratories are good. The hostels are provided with the wifi connection. The food is also good.
I'm a student passed out in 2019 and SIT has been a good college for the engineering course. The curriculum is updated with the latest requirements and includes all the recent developments in the particular branch of engineering
The quality of placements are good at the college. There is a 100% placements for the computer science students. The average package received was around 29LAP and it was grabbed by telecommunications department.
The course cost around 1-2L per year including all hostels expenses and the academic fees. There is value of money of course because the college is ranked in a good position by the NIRF ranking system.
The college campus is good and there is lot of sports activities going on in the campus. There are different clubs to showcase your talent like music ,dance , drama, sports etc. The college is in a good location of the city
The Institute is spread over 65 acres with Greenery all over the campus . The library has a collection of 70000 volumes includes 25000 volumes that contains books of all courses. The seating capacity is 450 students. Classroom have a capacity of 80 students and seminars hall have a capacity of 250 students.College wi-fi is throughout the campus. All year have separate hostels with very healthy and hygienic food facilities.Hostel cleaning is done on the daily basis and are very neat and clean.
Iam studying Electrical and Electronics engineering.I have a keen interest in electronics . Teaching quality is good and faculty are ready to guide anytime. Circular is updated but there is need to make college curriculum based on the industry requirements.
Placement is above average in cse, ise, ece and for eee branches. 80% of students is placed of 2020 batch still placement is going on.Highest salary package is of Cisco of 29lakh/annum.For cse,ise and ece student.Average salary offered is of 4lakh . College will help us in placement in all aspects .
It will course aroud 2 lakh . Yes,it is worth because teaching facilities and placement offered by company for our college is good.
College campus is full of greenery . College has a full wi fi connection throughout the campus. There are a lot cultural and technical group which helps in the holistic development of the students.Teacher, stuff and everyone is supportive in nature. Its location is 70km outskirts of Banglore .
SIT is build around 60 acres of land located in center of city. Lush green campus. All the major branches like CSE, EC, Mech, Civil, Archi have their separate buildings. Add to it the building for auditorium, cafeteria and 2 basketball court. Every department has its own set of seminar halls. They have good facilities like stair cased hall, wide boards, AC, projectors etc. Also 2 gyms 1 each for boys and girls are present inside campus. You will love living space near college.
SIT being autonomous college, has it's own curriculum. I am currently studying ECE. Professors teaching here for ages have good knowledge about the subject but some new ones, fail to introduce basic topics. Few teachers are really good. Curriculum in ECE branch is updated as we study topics like ML, AI and many more. ECE has good lab facilities. These labs have good quality development boards given by some major companies like Wipro and TCS which makes you job ready for companies.
The most important part of the college life, placements are okay for non-CS branches, CS branches placements are really good with companies like Samsung, VMWare, Oracle visiting them. If you’re taking CS-IS, you’ll be happy with the placements as long as you don’t mess up your studies. From what i hear the placements only are getting better for the CS/IS branches. For EC 2016-2020 batch highest package was 30Lakhs and avg was 5L. Placement dept is very supportive and helps students for placement
If you are from Karnataka and you have given KCET and getting to college you have to give approx 80k college fees and if you are from Comedk than you have to pay almost 2 lakhs per year fees. One can surely get a good package and a better designation if one is sincere. Good campus, clean air , away from the messed up and polluted Bangalore city. Some professors actually have core knowledge.
It is near to Bangalore not in Bangalore so you miss the opportunity you could utilize staying at good network place. You don't have exposure to any of the other college curriculum (I mean you see posters but very less interesting students as they are not praised). Cultural festival, ethnic day , branch festivals you can enjoy to the core, again it depends on your involvement and interest.
This college has good reputation, many wont regret studying here. For your rank in COMEDK, If you get good engineering in colleges in Bangalore/Mysore go with it, without compromising your desired course of study.About SIT I can say it is okay college if you are from somewhere else and just want to graduate like a normal student. Hostel facility is not to mark. Lot many complaints about food from students is common everytime.
My college is having a basic and average infrastructure. This college is affiliated to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. The college provides all basic facilities like canteen, stationary etc. This is a private college. Grounds are large and sport facility is also good. I think the management is a bit poor. The food provided is hyg
I have chosen this course because computers and its working have always fascinated me since childhood. Our teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgable. most of the faculty are experts in their respective field. Tutorial are also undertaken by teachers which prove to be quite helpful for clearing doubts. The course curriculum is not up to date and needs changes.
The faculty of training and placement department is very supportive and guides us regarding the placement process. The salaries offered were from 3.6 LPA to 16 LPA. Around 60% of the students got placed last year.
This college is the best example for value for money as it is cheap and gives a lot of return for the money we invest. It costs nearly 45k a year and is a great value for money college.
The college campus is good. There is a club ground with all the basic facilities. But still there are a lot of things lacking such as a Students Activity Centre, swimming pool, and also there are lot of forests in the campus. They should be removed and more infrastructure should be made to make the college campus more vibrant.

HI,
That depends on the branch which you are interested in -
Also, it depends on branch and availability of seats , in general I can say approximately 7 to 10 lakh management fees and yearly 2.5 lakh fees ( for all branch same fees for four years) , totally for four years you have to pay nearly 20 lakh , This is for four year course management quota seat .
For CET intake , they charge only tuition fees and cet fees which makes approximately 3 to 4 lakh for four years duration.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
