SRM Institute of Hotel Management in Chennai has modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, a nice library, and WiFi in the hostels. The facilities are well-kept and used often. The sports center is good, the living areas are clean, and the food is safe to eat.

I learned Hotel and Catering Management at SRM Institute of Hotel Management in Chennai. The teachers are great, they teach us both theory and practical skills. Our lessons are always up-to-date with what's happening in the industry, so we're ready for jobs when we finish studying.

Placements are good good. Most students were placed, with the top salary going to a B.Sc Hotel and Catering Management student. The average salary was competitive. The placement process was easy and well-organized, with great support from the college.

The University has a good Wi-Fi with very huge ventilated AC classrooms, decent playgrounds and a well maintained library. The food is healthy, hygienic and good in both the mess and the canteens and the university also has its own hospital for any medical emergency.

The teachers and other professors are very helpful, knowledgeable and well qualified in their particular expertise. Course curriculum is absolutely relevant and it makes the students industry ready. Semester exams are fine, neither too difficult nor too easy with 50% being the passing percentage.

This is a very highly valued course in India right now and I think ST University is the best option for this course. 90% of the students were placed in my course and about 10-15 LPA is the average package offered. Various placements in highly demanded hospitals provide great opportunities.

We have a library, canteen, amphitheater, open gym, common area, seminar hall, taekwondo room and indoor games. We have table tennis court and badminton court, basketball court, cricket and football ground, martial arts for sports. There is a book shop and a printing shop. We also have psychology lab.

We do have an active placement cell in our colege which provides the students with entrepreneurship internship and job opportunities. It also conducts campus selection dire for every department. The cell has a tie up with yes bank, NDTV, high court of Delhi, ministry of finance, artel and many other companies providing students with eminent opportunities. Both AC and non-AC rooms are available. Rooms have 3 or 4 or 5 occupancies. You will be provided with a bed, study table, chair and cupboard. The infrastructure is okay. Wi-Fi and cleaning staff are available. Food is not up to par. It is manageable, though. The basketball court is in the ladies hostel. Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, projector and chalkboards. The library is spacious and quiet. Phones are not allowed in the library. The library mostly has curriculum books.

The faculty members are really knowledgeable and Ph.D. scholars. They are very approachable. The teacher-to student ratio is manageable. The curriculum is interesting and relevant. Yes, it does make students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate to difficult. The pass percentage is 60%.
Placements
In 2023, 85% of the students were placed. 1000 students were placed on and off campus. The highest package offered was 30 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, etc., and TCS is the mass recruiter. 90% of the students got internships (from B.Tech CSE branch) .

Coding has always had me in awe and curious, which is why I chose B.Tech. computer science and engineering. I want to improve my coding skills and my problem-solving aptitude. There are no annual fests at ITER. There are inter- and intra-club events.

The campus of Inter SOA is not very big. There are 12 boys' hostels and about 5 ladies' hostels. All the hostels are within the campus except for 2 hostels. The distance of the hostel from the college is about 2 to 5 minutes' walk. We have a central library which is very big. The classrooms have smart boards and projectors. There is also a game complex. The infrastructure is good. No fests and events are held here as for SOA, only studying and strictness is necessary.
Academics
The curriculum is up-to-date and connected to the physical world, it's practical. The teaching methods can be more digitalized. The semesters are short, only a total of 4 months. There are two exams which are conducted with a gap of 2 months. For admission to the college, there is a college exam named SAAT, which is an online-based exam. The cutoff is based on the marks of students, and accordingly, they get a branch. Even if you are average, you can get into this college in a branch if you give the SAAT exam in the early phase.
Placements
College placement is decent. Students get eligible as soon as they meet the company's job criteria. However, normally in the 7th semester, companies like Microsoft along with other mass recruiters visit the college. The highest package was 54 LPA by Microsoft. Almost 85% of students are placed every year.

I choose this college over KIIT because its fees are not as high as KIIT's. The placements are good. There are no events and fests in my campus; however, in the medical or campus 2 events are held, but it is far around 5 km.

The college infrastructure is above average, the classrooms are a bit out dated, but the seminar halls and auditorium is really amazing. All the labs are well maintained. The library is a one of the best areas, there is also a digital library with 40+ desktops. The whole campus is very clean and well maintained.

On campus placement is not too good but with highest cgpa and with skills we can easily get placement. For placement student should have atleast cgpa above 7 or 8. The highest salary package offered was 12 to 14 LPA and offered for B.tech mechanical engineering student.

My college campus is very huge with a large play ground , workshop and also green trees which make the environment fresh and beautiful also so walking in campus is feels very good . There are many sports activities and also sports fest. Organized by the college in which student show their active participation and also cultural fest are also organized and NSS camps and many more things. Teachers and support staff members are very helpful nature and good behavior.

There is big burden of exams as well as the students are not able to study properly and the focus of the faculty is on completing the syllabus so they leave a lot of topics and students have to study every thing by their own self The material is mot provided at time.

The placement here are not impressive .In fact the NAAC rating seems fake. Faculty member mention a few students getting placed 10-15 LPA ,we have not heard of anyone reaching 20. The highest package on2023 was around 25LPA .
