Hello!

These are some of diploma courses you can pursue if you want to be a software developer:

  1. Diploma in Computer Science Engineering
  2. Diploma in Software Engineering

Apart from this, I would suggest you to pursue a bachelor's degree in the field of software engineering, computer science or related field and then opt for masters degree.

i completed my diploma in IT. Now, can i go for degree in robotics or AI engineering?

Nitin Kumar 28th May, 2024

Yes, with a diploma in IT, you have a strong foundation to pursue a degree in Robotics or Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering.Your IT diploma likely equipped you with valuable skills in programming, computer hardware, and software applications. These skills are fundamental building blocks for both Robotics and AI Engineering.

Several universities and institutions offer Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degrees specializing in Robotics or AI Engineering. Some might even have programs specifically designed for diploma holders.

can i cancel my kcet alloted engineering seat after completing 1 year because i got alloted in medical college this year

Nitin Kumar 28th May, 2024

Yes, you can likely cancel your KCET allotted engineering seat after completing 1 year,

The typical window to cancel or surrender KCET allotted seats usually closes after the second or extended round of counselling. Since you have completed year 1, you have missed that window.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) might impose a penalty for cancelling your seat after such a long period. The specific penalty amount can vary depending on the course you were allotted and the KEA's regulations.

i have cleared diploma in computer science, whether i am elligible for CLAT exam ?

Nitin Kumar 27th May, 2024

No, a diploma in computer science alone does not qualify you for the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) exam. CLAT eligibility requires a minimum of a completed 10+2 education (or equivalent) from a recognized board.

You must have completed Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognized board with a minimum percentage of marks (usually 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST category).
While a diploma in computer science might be a valuable qualification, it does not fulfill the basic educational requirement for the CLAT UG program.

my son got ece with cyber physical systems in srm ktr phase 2. we were asked to pay some fee for the seat confirmation.my question is if he writes phase 3 and gets another branch can we cancel the first one and takes the latest one?and will the paid amount be refundable

Nitin Kumar 28th May, 2024

The possibility of cancellation and refund depends on SRM KTR's specific admission fee refund policy.  Carefully review the official documents or website related to SRM KTR Phase 2 counselling, seat allotment, and fee payment.  Look for a section on "Fee Refund Policy" or "Cancellation of Allotted Seat."

There might be a specific timeframe (e.g., 15 days) after seat allotment where a full refund is possible if you decide to cancel the seat.

If you decide to cancel after the full refund deadline or your son gets a new seat in Phase 3, you might receive a partial refund, but a certain amount might be deducted as processing fees or penalties.

If you decide to cancel the Phase 2 seat, ensure you initiate the cancellation process within the timeframe stipulated in the refund policy to maximize the potential refund amount.

By carefully reviewing the refund policy and contacting SRM KTR admissions if needed, you will gain clarity on the cancellation process and applicable refund for your son's situation. This will help you make informed decisions regarding seat cancellation and potentially attending Phase 3 of the SRM KTR counselling process.
