PICT Pune Placements 2023: The Training and Placement (T&P) Cell is essential to students' quest for outstanding employment possibilities. The T&P Cell at SCTR's Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Pune acts as an airfield for the young undergraduate and postgraduate students' flights to farther-reaching destinations and unfathomable altitudes. The PICT Pune placement process is open to all students who meet the requirements outlined by the Institute and the companies. PICT Pune Placement Process

"Placement Orientation Session" is the first step in the placement procedure. It includes information about the T&P cell's goals, institutional policies, placement statistics, and standards.
At the conclusion of the sixth semester of engineering, students can register to enroll for the on-campus placement. Students submit the related documents for verification.
The T&P Cell invites businesses to participate in placement by providing them with necessary data such as placement reports.
A company registration form is circulated among the students to confirm their registration after receiving the profile/job description, eligibility requirements, and CTC from the companies.
Following that, the registered students are scheduled for Pre-Placement Connect at the mutual convenience of the institution and the company.
The T&P cell coordinates the planning and execution of the recruitment process.
T&P Cell receives the company's list of the chosen students and formally notifies the students of their acceptance.

Hello aspirant,
PICT Pune is going to be a bit dificult as per you percentile in the reserve category which can move up the rank above 80k. Cut offs are generally below 20k every year for Computer Engineering, and they fall depending on the demand of the stream. They, however, change every year. But to be honest, you have very slim chances of getting into the institution. Securing at least above 90 lets a student dream of something better.

Being a e w s category student and as you have achieved 80.96 percentile in JEE mains examination so on the basis of EWS category charge for you to take admission in Pune Institute of Computer technology which was established by society for Computer technology research in the year of 1983. Your result in JEE mains is hopeful on the basis of EWS category reservation policy you will get 10% reservation in respect of any admission so there is a bright chance for you for taking admission in Pune Institute of Computer Technology,Pune, Maharastra.

IIIT PUNE & PICT PUNE WHICH COLLEGE IS BETTER?

Hope you are doing great! Here's your answer!

PICT is a much better options because the difference between IT and CS placements in PICT is almost 0. All companies who hire CS students allow IT students to apply too. Now for those wondering about difference in Course structures between the two the IT 2012 onwards syllabus is much better and well structured . PICT beats all colleges of Pune including COEP wrt acads . So PICT IT >>>> IIIT Pune CS .

The college fee in PICT is 3.86 lacks for 4 years and VIT Pune is 7.20 lacks for 4 years. Infrastructure is more in PICT compared to VIT Pune. Round -3 JEE mains cutoff rank for PICT is 10984 and that of VIT Pune is 22518 for the IT branch. PICT Pune placements 2020 witnessed the highest package of INR 43.33 LPA . Over 115 companies participated in the placement drive. Over 351 male students and 203 female students were offered placement offers by top companies. The placement percentage of PICT has also increased to 84.06%

I only heard good things about the institute from him. Here are some facts about IT at PICT and CSE at IIIT-Pune, which may help you to decide.

Teachers:

All of the faculties of IIIT-Pune are Ph.D. holders from institutes like IIT KGP, NITs, and foreign universities.
Most of the faculties of PICT are M.tech or still pursuing their PhDs.

Degree:

Students get B.tech in IIIT-Pune as compared to a B.E. at PICT.
IIIT-Pune's curriculum doesn't include subjects like Civil, Engineering Drawing, Mechanics, Mechanical, Chemistry which are of no use in the course of CSE.

Institute of National Importance:

IIIT-Pune is like all the IITs, NITs, IIITs which is an Institute of National Importance( INI) which leads to a lot of Government funds and monetary support.
Students who did their 12th from the MP board or others can receive a full tuition fee waiver for 4 years of their B. Tech since IIIT Pune is an INI.

Students think that PICT is old so it’s better and yes it’s been around for 20 years since PICT’s inception and it has developed whereas IIIT-Pune is just 2 years old and has the potential for tremendous growth.
