Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Virudhunagar was established in 1984 by Kalvivallal Thiru. There are plenty of books available in the library. There will be a facility of getting or lending the books by the students upto 2 weeks from central library and lend upto as we need by department libraries. The library is connected with the centralized AC.

Facilities and infrastructure are good. Our labs are good. We can use it anytime, but only on working days. The browsing speed is not good in the hostel. Our classrooms are good. A library is available only on working days.

Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE) is a private, Deemed to be University which is NAAC accredited and UGC approved. The college offers the course of B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering which is a 4 years course and the total fees for the course is around Rs. 6lacs for the entire duration of the course.
