It was originally named as ‘The College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam.’ The college became a constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2008. The training & placement (T&P) office of the college is responsible for handling Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Engineering placement activities.
