IPU CET 2024: Result (Declared), Cut off, Counselling, Admission Process

IPU CET 2024 - Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University has opened the IPU CET answer key objection window 2024 on May 11, for exam conducted on May 11. Students can raise objections on the IPU CET 2024 answer key till May 14. The IPU CET 2024 result for UG and PG programmes was declared on May 8, in online mode. Students who have appeared for the exam can check the IPU CET result 2024 by visiting the official website - ipu.ac.in. 

The university has issued the IPU CET 2024 admit card on May 6, for exam held on May 12. Candidates can download the IPU CET hall ticket 2024 by using their login credentials. Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University has announced the revised dates IPU CET 2024 in online mode. The IPU CET 2024 exam was conducted from April 27 to May 12 in online mode. 

Only exam centers in Delhi/NCR will host the IPU CET 2024 exam. GGSIPU started the IPU CET 2024 registration on February 1, 2024, at ipu.ac.in. To fill out the IP University 2024 application form, candidates need to visit the official website of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - ipu.ac.in.
Note: The exam centers for IPU CET 2024 outside of Delhi/NCR have been canceled for administrative reasons.

The IPU CET 2024 cut off has been declared on the official website - ipu.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the test can check it from there. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the counselling process for which the registration will begin at the official website. Once the counselling session is over, the university will release the IPU CET 2024 seat allotment in online mode.

What is IPU CET?

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will conduct the IPU CET 2024 entrance exam to enrol students into different UG and PG courses like BBA, BCA, BJMC, B.A, M.A, B.Sc, M.Sc, BHMCT and M.Tech and B.Tech (Biotech) offered at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Admission to certain programmes is conducted based on the merit/score of the National Level Test Conducted by agencies other than the Universities. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has introduced B.Tech (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Industrial Internet of Things, Automation & Robotics) through JEE Main 2024 (Paper 1).

Candidates should check the IPU CET eligibility criteria 2024 before they start the application process. • Candidates should have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized university or board. The minimum marks to be obtained by the candidates must be 50%
• The age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years on August 1, 2024
• Candidates can be a citizen of India or outside of India. International candidates have to submit relevant documents related to their nationality
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defense Personnel/ Persons with disability will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks

IPU CET B.C.A. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for the exam can check the eligibility criteria of IPU CET 2024 for the BCA programme to make sure that they are eligible to appear.

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 or the equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
• Candidate must have passed in English.
• Candidate must have studied and passed Mathematics or (Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as compulsory subject.
• Candidate who has completed three year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply.

IPU CET BJ (MC) Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for IPU CET BJMC candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:

• Candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 50 %.
• The candidate should have studied and passed English as well in 10+2.
• Candidates appearing in 10+2 in 2024 are also eligible to apply.
• Candidate's age should not exceed 21 years.

IPU CET B.H.M.C.T. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of IPU CET BHMCT 2024 can be checked below. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to appear for IPU CET 2024 for BHMCT admission.

• Candidate must have qualified class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks.
• Candidates must have passed in English as well.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defense Personnel/ Persons With Disability will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks.

* Aggregate of 50% will be calculated as the percentage in the best of four subjects. The best four subjects will be mentioned before counseling if necessary.

IPU CET M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the prescribed eligibility criteria of IPU CET M.Tech before applying for the exam. The IPU CET M.Tech 2024 eligibility criteria is given below:

• Candidates must have passed B.Tech./B.E or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks
• Candidate's age should not be more than 35 years.
• Candidates who have passed IETE/AMIE (ECE/CSE/IT/EE) will also be eligible to apply.

IPU CET B.A. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for B.A programme from IP University must fulfill the following eligibility criteria-

• Completed senior secondary examination with an aggregeate of minimum 50% marks.
• For admissions in B.A English Hons., candidates must have studied English as a compulsory subject.
• For BA Economics, candidates must have studied Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.

IPU CET B.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

As per the eligibility criteria of IP University, candidates who are appearing for B.Sc programmes must take a note of the following academic requirements -

• Candidates must have completed their senior secondary examination with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

• For admissions in B.Sc Medical Technology and Radio Technology, candidates must have cleared their senior secondary examination with at least an aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or must have obtained a diploma in radiotherapy technology after the aforementioned twelfth grade examinations with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The candidates must also have at least five years of experience in Radiotherapy.

IPU CET M.A. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates filling the application form for admissions in M.A programmes of IP University must check the given below eligibility criteria of the university.

• A Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

• Candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree in Economics for admissions in M.A Economics.

IPU CET M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to M.Sc programmes offered by the IP University must check the following eligibility criteria to to appear in the entrance examination.

• A B.Sc degree with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university.

• For admissions in M.Sc Environment Management, candidates must posses a pass in B.Sc. degree or an equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% or a B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc. (Engg.) in Chemical/Agricultural Engg/Civil with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

• For admissions in M.Sc Forensic Science, candidates must have a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Applied Physics/Physics/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Toxicology/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Biology(Zoology or Genetics or Botany or Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Physical Anthropology) with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized university.

  • Or B.Sc of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University. In addition to it, candidates should have also studied at least from first year of the three year course any two subjects of the following - a) Physics b) Math or Statistics c) Chemistry d) Biology (Zoology or Genetics or Botany or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Physical Anthropology)

  • Or a B.Sc. in Forensic Science from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

  • Or B.Tech. (Civil/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering/Computer Science) from a recognized university with at least an aggregate of 50%.

• For admissions in M.Sc Nursing, candidates should be a registered nurse and midwife or equivalent with a State Nursing Registration Council.

  • The applicants must have passed B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum aggregate of 55% from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

  • Candidates should have a work experience of at least a year after finishing their basic B.Sc. Nursing. Prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, candidates should gather a work experience of at least a year.

The process of filling and submitting the IPU CET 2024 application form has been done completely in online mode. Candidates were required to complete the IPUCET 2024 registration process before the deadline. In case the e–admit card is without photograph, you are advised to bring 02 recent passport size photographs at the examination center along with photo Identification proof for pasting in attendance sheet/admit card.

IPU CET B.A. Admit Card

The IP University admit card 2024 will be issued in online mode at ipu.ac.in. Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form will download the IPU CET 2024 admit card using their login credentials. It must be noted that candidates have to carry their IPU CET admit card 2024 along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre. IPU CET B.Sc. Admit Card

The result of IPU CET BHMCT  will be declared in online mode at the official website. The candidates who get qualified and whose names appear on the merit list will have to participate in the counselling process. The IPU CET BHMCT counselling registration will start in the first week of August. Candidates can register for the same on IPU CET counselling website, ipu.admissions.nic.in till the second week of August, 11:50 pm. The results for the same will be announced in the last week of August 2024. 

The university has released the IPU CET cutoff 2024 in online mode. Test-takers can check the IPU CET cutoff 2024 on the official website of the university. The IPU CET cutoff 2024 is the minimum amount of the marks that candidates need to score to be eligible for admission in the course they have opted for. 

The cutoff of IPU CET 2024 will be prepared based on various factors like number of candidates appearing for the examination, difficulty level of the examination, marks secured by the candidates and number of seats available in the respective college. Candidates who have secured equal or more marks than the IPU CET cutoff 2024 are invited to the counselling session.

Mode of Counselling: Online, Offline

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will start the IPU 2024 counselling once the results are declared. IPU will announce the IP University 2024 counselling round 1 seat allotment result through online mode. Candidates who are shortlisted have to appear for the IPU CET counselling 2024. The IP University counselling process includes five important steps- submitting the application fee, registration, choice filling, seat allotment and freezing the allotted seat. The university also conducts the IPU CET counselling 2024 in multiple rounds; each subsequent round is held for shortlisted candidates who failed to get admissions in the previous round to secure the vacant seats. On the day of IPU CET counselling 2024, shortlisted candidates need to carry all the required documents. 

The university will conduct an offline spot counselling round at the end to fill the remaining vacant seats if any. To participate in the online IP University counselling 2024, candidates have to pay a participation fee of Rs. 1000/- and submit an online preference form. For offline counselling, candidates have to physically attend the IPU 2024 counselling session on the designated date and the specified venue, pay the participation fees and hand over their preferences.
