BITS Pilani Scholarship
BITS Pilani offers scholarships to the students on the basis of academic performance and participation in extracurricular activities. Some of the BITS Pilani scholarships are Scholarship on the Basis of Merit in Qualifying Exam, Scholarship on the Basis of Merit in BITSAT, Merit Scholarship for Continuing Students, Special Concessions for GCC/Arab Nationals, etc. To avail the scholarships, candidates first have to meet the eligibility criteria.
The institute offers the scholarships in the form of concession in tuition fees. The campus is very beautiful. Very big campus with many blocks. College is having best infrastructure. Sports activities are very good. Classrooms are spacious with air conditioner. Hostel rooms are neat and clean.

- Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT).
- Direct Admission of Board Toppers.
- Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT)- [For citizens of a country other than India].
For getting direct admission in BITS, one has to secure a minimum combined score of 75% in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and at least 60% marks in each of these subjects individually.

The applicant has passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English; Also, the applicant has obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in PCM in 12th examination, with at least 60% .

Hello aspirant,
BTech is an acronym for Bachelor of Technology, whereas BE is an acronym for Bachelor of Engineering. The two degrees are interchangeable. While most institutions overseas offer BE degrees, the majority of Indian institutes offer BTech degrees.
It is believed that BE is more of a theoretical approach, whereas BTech is more of a practical one. This is the only slight distinction.
